Sony Ericsson to roll out Xperia Neo V and Pro in India

Sony Ericsson plans to launch its three handsets in India on 18th October. The handsets which are ready for launch includes Xperia Neo V, Xperia Pro and Sony Ericsson Txt. The Xperia Neo V will be available at a cost of Rs.17,500 while the Xperia Pro costs Rs 26,000. The Sony Ericsson Txt is not yet clearly mentioned but it is expected at a cost closer to Rs. 5,000.

The first device named Xperia Neo V features a 3.7 inch multi touch reality display with Mobile BRAVIA engine. The BRAVIA engine is a technology which Sony already uses in its TVs. The new Xperia Neo V is an upgrade to the Xperia Neo and it is built with Gingerbread Android 2.3 operating and 1 GHz processor. The device sports a 5 MP camera with LED Flash and auto focus which can shot in 720p HD mode at 30 FPS even the light conditions are very low. The company informs that the mobile will offer 7 hours of talktime since it is designed with a 1500 mAH battery. The phone holds 32 MB of internal storage and the memory is expandable upto 32 GB via SD card. In addition, the mobile has 3G, WiFi, GPS, and Google’s services like Maps, Gmail, Gtalk, Android market etc.

Another device Xperia Pro comes with a slide out QWERTY keypad which boasts a 3.7 inches LED back-lit capacitive touchscreen LCD with 8 MP camera capable of recording 720p high definition videos. With this, it is incorporated with a 32 GB expandable memory slot and it is packed with a 1 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon system on chip or Soc. The Xperia Pro is also used as a USB host that allows users to connect PC, keyboard, or gaming consol. Some other features such as HDMI port, DLNA, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G are also available in the mobile.

Speaking about the third device Sony Ericsson Txt, it is a feature phone developed on the basis of Sony Ericsson’s proprietary OS. The great features includes 3.2 MP camera, WiFi support and 2.55 inch VGA”>QVGA screen (Non touch). Apart from the other, it also offers social networking and instant messenger services such as Facebook, Twitter and Gtalk apps.

Micromax rolls out X40 at Rs.4,599

Recently Micromax has announced the launch of its new projector based smartphone known as Micromax X40. The Micromax comes up with an affordable price of Rs.4,599 and it is available for marketing on various ecommerce sites. The new smartphone is very helpful for all range of people which includes business people, vibrant youths and so on.

The Micromax X40 is a dual-SIM projector mobile which boasts a bar style with the dimension of 117x51x17 mm. The mobile weighs nearly 148 gm and is designed with a 2.4 inch screen having a resolution of 240×320 pixels. The handset has a good camera of 2MP and FM Radio. Sony Ericsson launches New Xperia Mini Pro @ Rs.15,000

Today, Sony Ericsson has launched its new touchscreen mobile christened as X10 Mini Pro which has been priced at Rs.15,000. The new smartphone is looking very compact while compared to its predecessor mobile and it comes up with a slide out keyboard.

The Xperia Mini Pro sports a 3-inch display and runs on Google’s Android 2.3 OS. Td device is powered by a 1 GHz processor with the Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine support. The device possess 320×480 pixels of camera which makes the display very sharper but brightness is of normal form. The camera also boasts a shutter key on the side.

The device consists of 512MB RAM and 400MB onboard storage which is expandable via microSD card. The Xperia Mini Pro is fully packed with 3G, Wi-Fi with hotspot and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. The mobile is designed with white backlights for the keyboard and Android buttons which makes very easy to access even at night.

The phone comprises of navigating tool, interesting games and some other applications. One of the main advantage should be the sound system which is very good in Xperia Mini Pro. Samsung announces GALAXY Tab 730 and 750 in India

Yesterday, Samsung announced the launch of two Galaxy tabs such as Galaxy Tab 750 and Galaxy Tab 730 in India. The Tab 750 has been priced at Rs. 36,200 and the Tab 730 costs Rs.33,990. These Tab 750 will be available by the end of this month while Tab 730 will come up by the month of september.

At the launch occassion, YH Lee, Senior Vice President (marketing) of Samsung quoted that consumers all over the world are adopting easy-to-use and powerful smart mobile devices. India presents some of the best growth opportunities for smartphone and tablets, which is why it is one of the first few markets where we are launching these new tablets.

The new Samsung Tabs are expected to be an iPad killer and both tablets are developed on the basis of 1Ghz dual-core processor and have 1GB RAM. The tabs are incorporated with 3G functionality and 16GB internal storage. These new tabs are very light weight and compact compared to other iPads.

Motorola unveils 3 Dual-SIM mobile phones in India

Today, Motorola Mobility has amazed the customers by unveiling its three slim and stylish dual-SIM mobile phones in India. The mobiles includes EX212, EX 119 and EX109. The EX212 comes with a price of Rs. 5,190 while the EX119 costs Rs.6,190. The EX109 is available at a cost of Rs. 3,590.

The first device named EX212 is a compact flip phone. The devices is looking very classy and reflective. The EX212 sports a 2.4 inch QVGA screen, big keypad, 2 MP camera, FM radio, microSD expandable upto 16GB etc. It has a secondary LED screen along with its main screen for a dynamic graphical display. Sony Ericsson has mutually tied up with Reliance Communications inorder to launch its new smartphone named as “W8 Walkman” in India. HTC announces HTC ChaCha in India

At the MWC 2011, Taiwan based smartphone maker HTC has announced the launch of HTC ChaCha in India priced at Rs.15,990. HTC gurantees that the smartphone would definitely proves to be a good companion for the mid-range customers.

Maxx Mobiles rolls out new series of Khamoshhh Mobiles in India

HTC and TATA DOCOMO join hands to launch HTC CHACHA in India

LG to launch Optimus Pro in August

LG plans to launch its first touch and type input based Android smartphone christened as Optimus Pro in India by the month of August. The company claims that Optimus Pro will surely replace the LG Optimus One. The new Optimus Pro will come with a price tag below Rs.13,000.

The device features a 2.8 inch capacitive touchscreen, full QWERTY keypad and Wi-Fi, HSPA+”>HSPA and Bluetooth version 3.0 connectivity. LG Optimus Black available in India @ Rs.19,990

LG launched its Optimus Black smartphone in India which has been priced at Rs.19,000. The new Android based smartphone gives a tough competition to other similar devices like HTC Sensation, Samsung Nexus S and HTC Desire. This lightest high end smartphone comes with five attractive shades such as black, silver, pink, white and brown.

The device weighs just 109 grams and it sports a 4-inch NOVA display, 5 megapixel rear camera and a secondary 2 megapixel front facing camera.
