MAXX Mobile launches SOUL MS727 in India

India’s largest homegrown mobile phone manufacturer MAXX has launched its slider touch phone christened as MAXX SOUL MS727. Customers can purchase the MAXX SOUL at a cost of approximately Rs.3,395. The mobile is available in India through the MAXX Mobiles widespread distribution network.

At the occassion of launch, Ajjay Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of MAXX Group commented that At MAXX Mobiles as they continually strive to offer their users with value for money product, they closely watch market trends and keenly track what their consumers desire in a mobile phone. MAXX Mobile is predominately focused on designing phones which provide convenience to users.

The MAXX SOUL is well packed with a 1.3 MP Camera, a free 2GB memory card which is already preloaded with licensed multimedia content which including music and videos. HTC announces HTC ChaCha in India

At the MWC 2011, Taiwan based smartphone maker HTC has announced the launch of HTC ChaCha in India priced at Rs.15,990. HTC gurantees that the smartphone would definitely proves to be a good companion for the mid-range customers.

Faisal Siddiqui, Country Manager of HTC quoted that by featuring a dedicated Facebook button, they aims to make it simpler and convenient for the users to share and connect through their favourite social networking sites. Siddiqui further added that the smartphone is designed to offer a seamless, social experience for their customers. And they would strive to introduce many more such advanced smart phones in the coming months.

The smartphone sports a 2.6 inch touchscreen along with 4-row QWERTY keypad for instant messaging. The mobile is packed with 5 MP camera at the back with LED flash along with a VGA front facing camera which allows video calls. The device is devloped on the basis of Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform and it has 512 MB built-in storage with 512 MB of RAM. The ChaCha is powered by an 800 MHz processor. One of the main advantage should be instant access to Facebook with a single click of a button below the keypad which enables easy access to the social networking site and sharing the contents.

In addition to all, HTC has mutually tied up with GSM brand of TTSL, Tata Docomo for the launch of the ChaCha with the network providing 3G data offers along with the handset. This mobile network will provide 3 hours of free Mobile TV which can be redeemed over a period of three months. With this offer, the postpaid users can use 1GB of free data every month for a period of three months while the prepaid users can use 3GB of free data which will be valid for a period of three months. Maxx Mobiles rolls out new series of Khamoshhh Mobiles in India

Maxx Mobiles, India’s largest homegrown mobile manufacturer announced the launch of its new series of Khamoshh mobiles in India. The new mobiles are introduced at an event held in Mumbai. The Khamoshhh series of mobiles includes two handsets namely MAXX MX401 and MAXX MQ601. The MAXX MX401 comes with a price tag of Rs.2,833 while MAXX MQ601 costs Rs.2,970 respectively.

At the launch occassion, Ajjay Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Maxx group revealed that the mobile device has become more than just a communication device, it has become a lifeline to most of the people. Whether it is a conference call for a business pitch or catch-up all with old friends, a mobile phone has become indispensable. But their conversations are never without the hustle-bustle of everyday life.

Further he added that Crowded restaurants, busy offices, chaotic commutes make it difficult to have a quiet conversation. In India, where there is still a very high preference and dependence on voice calls, they believe feature-rich yet affordably priced Khamoshh series handset is the perfect device for an Indian audience. Both mobiles are integrated with noise suppression technology called “SAM” which reduces background noise and supports total voice clarity.

The Maxx MX401 is a dual-SIM mobile which features a 2.4-inch TFT screen, 2MP camera and the Opera Mini Browser which enables users to browse on the move. The MX401 is powered by a 1500mAh battery and supports MP3/WAV/AAC audio formats and 3GPP/AVI/MP4 video player formats. Apart from the above, it also provides a talk time and standby time of up to 5.5 and 450 hours respectively. The mobile comes with two attractive shades such as blue and yellow color.

Another mobile Maxx MQ601 sports a QWERTY keypad, 2MP camera and powered by a 1000mAh battery. The MQ601 is well equipped with a 2.3-inch TFT screen and the dual-SIM functionality. This offers a talk time of up to 4.5 hours and a standby time of up to 350 hours. The Maxx MQ601 is available in two colors namely black and grey.

HTC and TATA DOCOMO join hands to launch HTC CHACHA in India

HTC Corporation, a global leader in mobile innovation and design, and Tata DOCOMO, the GSM arm of Tata Teleservices Limited, today announced the launch of the HTC ChaCha in India. The HTC ChaCha features a dedicated Facebook button that allows you to share just about anything at a single touch. The one-touch access to Facebook service has been integrated throughout the HTC Sense experience. The sleek, affordable yet feature-packed smartphone combines a 2.6-inch touch screen with a full QWERTY keypad.

LG to launch Optimus Pro in August

LG plans to launch its first touch and type input based Android smartphone christened as Optimus Pro in India by the month of August. The company claims that Optimus Pro will surely replace the LG Optimus One. The new Optimus Pro will come with a price tag below Rs.13,000.

The device features a 2.8 inch capacitive touchscreen, full QWERTY keypad and Wi-Fi, HSPA+”>HSPA and Bluetooth version 3.0 connectivity. The handset is powered by a 800 MHz processor with dedicated graphic core in the form of Qualcomm MSM 7227 system on a chip which should take care of users daily computing requirements.

LG Optimus Black available in India @ Rs.19,990

LG launched its Optimus Black smartphone in India which has been priced at Rs.19,000. The new Android based smartphone gives a tough competition to other similar devices like HTC Sensation, Samsung Nexus S and HTC Desire. This lightest high end smartphone comes with five attractive shades such as black, silver, pink, white and brown.

The device weighs just 109 grams and it sports a 4-inch NOVA display, 5 megapixel rear camera and a secondary 2 megapixel front facing camera. The handset is wrapped with a Gorilla Glass over its IPS LCD screen and this scratch resistant mobile gives a very great viewing experience. The mobile is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor and includes 2 GB of internal storage.
