Information regarding Promotional schemes for BSNL subscribers

Dear BSNL customer

                         I take this particurly to inform you that Punjab Telecom Circle, Chandigarh has launched lot of customer’s friendly schemes.

            For the benefits of our customers some of the prominent schemes are summarized as below:-

1.   With BSNL Land line /WLL , STD calls are very cheap. You can make STD  calls @Rs.0.50/mn. effectively (one pulse for two minutes for STD call to any LL/WLL in the country).

2.   Installation Charges for landline customers have been reduced to Rs. 250 upto 20-03-2010 (Customers having their  own  telephone sets will not be charged any installation charges) During this period  customers can book  Land  Line   Connection  by  making   payment of Rs. 250/-. Security   charges as per the rules.  (Rs 500 for Local/STD, Rs 2000/- for ISD) will be charged in three installments.

3. Installation charges for new broadband connections have been waived-off  till 28-02-2010.

4. .20% discount on broadband schemes (Usage & Rental) for broadband connections can be  provided to Central Govt./State Govt./PSU employees and to visually impaired  customers of both existing /new connections on their request with proof. This scheme is applicable to serving as well as retired Govt. employees.

5.   BSNL has  launched very  attaractive  tariff for  Prepaid mobile customers. They can get      prepaid SIM    for  Rs.20/- after  which by   purchasing  FRC of Rs. 15/-  or Rs. 37/- or Rs. 44/- they   will be migrated to life time validity plan or one paise/sec plan or Rs 0.49/mt all calls packs  as detailed below:-

BSNL has  introduced Special tariff vouchers which are  applicable to all prepaid plans    except  Anant plans. Customers  can make   calls at  reduced rates with these vouchers.

6.         Land line customers whose average monthly bill is more than Rs.500/- for the past six    months can get one additional rent free telephone.

7.          BSNL  has already  launched   3G services in  Chandigarh ,  Panchkula &   Mohali.  BSNL has launched a promotional scheme till  31-03-2010.
